At the Laura Vicuna school outside of Masaya
After driving back into Managua we were taken to Mi Sason for Jenn's birthday lunch. Her co-workers arranged for the restaurant to serve us Caballo Bayo for lunch, which was quite lucky for us, as it is only served on special occasions. Caballo Bayo consists of a variety of food and is served a top a pot/vase with a face carved into it (oddly resembles the Kool Aid man).

After school, we headed to the UCA (bus terminal) and boarded a large van to Leon. We had previously arranged to stay at Big Foot Hostel, which was an excellent choice. They have a $35 package that includes a bunk in the dorm, a t-shirt, 2 stickers, 2 mojitos and a trip to Cerro Negro (boarding down the side of a volcano)!
AMAZING!
Things I learned from Day Three:
1) Always board the fullest bus/van because they will not leave until the vehicle is absolutely full
2) No point in booking things in advance..they won't hold anything for you until you are there in person
